In a little town called Maleny, nestled among rolling hills and whispering trees, a curious and creative woman named Evelyn arrived in her van named Duncan. Evelyn came from a big, bustling family, and she loved being surrounded by people, sharing stories, and making art. She dreamed of a magical place where people could gather, share ideas, and create beautiful things together.​​
Once upon a time...

​So, one sunny morning, Evelyn decided to make her dream come true. She found the perfect little space in the heart of Maleny and called it 'The Joy Collective'. With a sparkle in her eyes, she rented the space and got to work. At first, it was quiet, and Evelyn wondered if anyone would come. But soon, people began to trickle in, curious about this warm, welcoming place beginning to fill with colourful art and creative energy.

One of the first visitors was Kira, who owned the hair and beauty salon next door. Kira loved Evelyn’s vision and quickly became a part of The Joy Collective’s story.
At first, some artists came to use the space, working together and sharing ideas. But it wasn’t quite enough to fill the room with the buzz Evelyn had imagined.

So, she came up with a new plan: she brought in a shiny coffee machine! The smell of fresh coffee danced through the air, inviting more people to stop by. But even with the coffee, it was still a bit of a struggle.
One day, Kira decided to join Evelyn as a business partner. Together, they tried all sorts of exciting ideas to bring more joy to the space. They held events and workshops, introduced Joy Memberships, served tasty food with coffee, created a special Creative Corner to showcase local artists, offered co-working passes, and even launched something magical called Joyful Cacao.
After a lot of trying and learning, Evelyn and Kira discovered the heart of The Joy Collective: it was a café where locals and tourists loved to gather and share stories, a Creative Corner bursting with local talent, a space for hosting beautiful events, and, of course, the delicious and joyful Joyful Cacao.
Through all their adventures, Evelyn and Kira learned that trying new things is part of the magic. They never stopped dreaming, growing, and welcoming new friends into their joyful world.
